The race is among the most competitive in the nation and is awash in outside money

Incumbent GOP Rep. Chip Cravaack and his challenger former DFL Rep. Rick Nolan meet in Virginia, Minn. to debate the issues facing the 8th congressional district.
The race is among the tightest in the nation and opinion surveys suggest it is the closest House race in Minnesota. Outside groups have poured millions into the contest.
